Gregory Jaimes has been named news anchor for Noticiero Telemundo 49 in Tampa, Florida.
He will make his on-air debut on Monday, March 9.
Jaimes comes from Telemundo 49 from Univision Nevada (KINC) in Las Vegas, where he had been an anchor for Noticias Univisión Nevada since September 2024.
Before that, Jaimes was a reporter for Telemundo Las Vegas (KBLR), part of Telemundo Station Group.

Earlier in his career, Jaimes worked as a reporter and producer in Caracas, Venezuela, contributing to digital and broadcast news coverage. He also served as a producer for Primer Impacto at Univision’s Caracas bureau and held reporting and editorial positions with Televen, Telecaribe, and Caraota Digital.
Jaimes earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Universidad Santa María in Caracas, Venezuela.
